On average a homeless person can walk over ten miles per day. Socks that are clean and in good condition are essential to our homeless—many of whom live outside. The socks you donate will help prevent foot disease, ulcers, infections, gangrene, and amputations. These problems are brought on by exposure to the cold and wet conditions that many homeless experience.  Please donate a new pair or two of socks and help our homeless patients keep their feet healthy and dry this winter.

Health Care for the Homeless provides primary health care, behavioral health and substance abuse assistance, dental care, case management, and street outreach services to our homeless individuals in Santa Fe County.
