"I was drawn to La Familia because of its value on community engagement and outreach work! I’m excited to get to know the community of Santa Fe and be of support in any way that I can. I have a particular interest in youth health, mental health, and integrative/alternative health. I hope to be able to provide methods and teach certain skills that can serve as guidance to patients when it comes to acknowledging, accepting, and addressing the inevitable flow of mental health we experience as human beings!"

I grew up in a family of 6 in Wisconsin, where I learned to despise the cold but love the Green Bay Packers! After graduating from UW-Madison, I moved to Paraguay where I worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer for a few years. It was there that I fell in love with the Spanish language and with community outreach work! I also developed a deep appreciation for forming and maintaining relationships with community members and families. So with the intention of finding a career that would allow me to express these passions, I went back to school to become an NP once I was back in the States after completing my service.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my spouse – doing outdoor activities, making music, playing soccer, creating good food, yoga, and meditation!
