I grew up in the small town of Roswell, New Mexico where I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a doctor. In order to pursue my goals I entered into the BA/MD program and went to school at The University of New Mexico (UNM) where I studied biology. I continued on to attend the UNM School of Medicine. My goals as a family medicine doctor are to help alleviate some of the healthcare disparities that people in this state face and to make medicine accessible to everyone. In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors with my husband, our son, and dogs. I enjoy hiking, fishing, reading, gardening, and taking an afternoon nap when the time allows.
