Julie King Atkinson

Dr. Atkinson received her DMD degree Magna Cum Laude from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2011 and has since worked in both private practice and public health settings.  She studied in the Robert Donald Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon for her undergraduate education and received her B.A. in Art History and B.S. in General Science Magna Cum Laude in 2007 with minors in biology and chemistry.

Dr. Atkinson moved from the Boston, MA area to New Mexico in 2016 with her husband and baby girl to pursue his specialty medical training in Gastroenterology at the University of New Mexico.  Drs. Atkinson currently live in Albuquerque with their two little girls and enjoy spending time as a family enjoying the natural beauty and rich culture of New Mexico.  She enjoys providing patients with all the benefits that come with good oral health as well as educating future dental assistants and AEGD residents through SFCC and NYU Langone Dental Medicine educational programs, respectively.
