Behavioral Health at La Familia Medical Center follows the integrated behavioral-medical model of collaborative care, in concert with our medical primary care providers. Our Behavioral Health services offer a positive and compassionate approach to working with our patients, identifying and facilitating a person’s growth at the point they come to us.
“I have a particular interest in bipolar and mood disorders, the impact of trauma in our lives, and stages of life transitions. It is an honor and a privilege to work with the very diverse and multicultural people we serve.”
Elisabeth (Beth) Holland has served at La Familia Medical Center since 2002 as Behavioral Health Director, after completing her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of New Mexico in 1994. Her experience includes working with college students, as well as with the diverse population and in depth therapy requirements of Santa Fe’s community mental health center.
